Paris Observatory (PSL) - Site of Meudon

The meeting will be held in the site of Meudon of Paris Observatory - PSL, in the conference room of the castle (building 9). Check how to get there on the observatory map.

• Main entrance : Place Janssen, 92190 Meudon, immediately on the right after entering the public park.
• Vehicle entrance : 11 avenue Marcellin Berthelot, 92190 Meudon

Please, configure your eduroam account through your institute. A very few number of Internet accesses will be available for guests.

How to reach the observatory ?

Compute your own itinerary using the Ile-de-France Mobilités website. Below we provide some general information:

• Itinerary from Paris Nord station
• Itinerary from Roissy - Charles de Gaulle airport
• Taxi G7 website (~ 60€ to Paris Nord / ~110 € to Roissy Charles de Gaulle)

Detailed directions from Paris

• RER line C (follows the Seine river, every 10-15min) arrives in Meudon Val Fleury, you can then follow the rue Banes (Western side), rue de Paris, rue de Terre-Neuve and arrive on Place Janssen
• Suburban N line (from Paris Montparnasse, every 15 min) arrives in Meudon and Bellevue stations. We recommend exiting at the Bellevue station. Get at the rear of the train to exit from the main station. Take left and follow the avenue du Château. The Observatory is at the top.
   
• TIM shuttle from the stations. A shuttle links the train stations to the Observatory.
  • From Bellevue station (N line) departures at 8h00 and 9h00, (6min trip).
  • From Meudon Val Fleury (C line), departures at 8h20 and 9h20 (5 min trip).

Tickets: you have to buy origin-destination tickets between Paris and Meudon (whichever station ~2€50), those allows you to take the metro in Paris before or after the travel by train. To take the TIM, you need an additional t+ ticket (1€90).
